Ms Houghton just finished telling the class how important it is to check their writing before they publish it because Ms Houghton didn't check her spelling from her last post.  It was a test to teach the children. :-)

The Very Hungry Caterpillar ( in Room 8 )

The caterpillar was tiny the first day then they got bigger the next day. The it was in a cocoon it hatched then a butterfly.

Poos on the table, drop, drop, plop the wings opened and it turned into a butterfly.

Poos on the table. Drop, drop, drop, plop, plop, plop the baby caterpillars were yellow, black and white.

I brought in a caterpillar plant. Drop, drop, drop, plop, plop, plop the next day I came back Courtney's caterpillars were humungous. My cocoon was black and we let it free and the wings were so beautiful.

Poos on the table drop, drop, drop. The caterpillars eat lots of leaves. Then they turn into a cocoon. We watched it go munching around the plant.

Poos on the table the butterfly got out of the cocoon. Then it turned into a butterfly and we let it out.

Poos on the table plop, plop. There was orange wings. The caterpillar ate lots of leaves. The caterpillar had yellow and black stripes. The cocoon hatched into a butterfly. It was free.

Poos on the table. Drop, drop, drop, plop, plop, plop the caterpillar ate all the leaves. Then a cocoon came up and stayed there for awhile. Then it turned into a butterfly and then we let it go.

Poos on the table drop, drop, plop, drop, plop. The poos on the table was little poos. The caterpillar hatched it was handsome. We let it free, it was cool.
